Changes to the PCN ADHD Service from 1st April
All Liverpool PCNs, including Brownlow, are now signed up to the new ADHD LES for 2026–27. This enables us to deliver:
- A more integrated and consistent patient experience
- Local diagnostic assessment, review and titration, reducing long waits elsewhere
- A safe and sustainable ADHD pathway across the city
This is a positive development and gives us the opportunity to better meet patient needs across our communities.
1. What’s changing?
ADHD Reviews, Re‑titration & Medication Adjustments via our PCN Service
Our PCN ADHD team can now offer timely appointments for:
- Medication reviews
- Re‑titration
- Dose adjustments
We will review, triage, and arrange appointments centrally.
2. New ADHD Referrals (Possible ADHD)
We are not offering routine new ADHD assessments just yet, but the processes to support this are being finalised.
- ADHD‑trained clinicians will regularly review new referrals to confirm suitability.
- We plan to create a waiting list for patients who prefer to wait for a Brownlow PCN assessment.
