New Women’s Health Hub – Saturday & Midweek Cervical Screening Appointments

Cervical cancer is preventable, and early screening is crucial to staying healthy. We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Women’s Health Hub, opening in April, where you can now book Saturday cervical screening appointments for added convenience!

At the Women’s Health Hub, we provide a relaxed and supportive environment to make your screening experience as comfortable as possible. You can now book an appointment on Saturdays or during the week—whichever suits your schedule best.

We’ve also improved our midweek smear appointment booking system, now allowing you to book up to three months in advance, making it even easier to find a time that works for you.

Contact the practice to arrange an appointment.

To learn more about the importance of cervical screening and HPV prevention, we invite you to listen to the new podcast from the vaccination and screening communications team at NHS England: Preventing Cervical Cancer: Myth-Busting. Available via SoundCloud, it features GPs Shehla Imtiaz-Umer, Natasha Behl, Bola Owolabi, Anisa Patel, and Farzana Hussain with senior midwife Rukeya Miah and NHS England’s Director of Screening Harrison Carter addressing common points of concern to reassure listeners about the importance of screening, and HPV vaccination to prevent cervical and other types of cancer.
