Test Results

The clinician who orders your test should advise you on how to get the results.

This often (but not always) makes use of text messaging.  Please make sure we have your up to date mobile phone number, and please let your clinician know if you would prefer not to use this method.

If you have a review appointment planned, it is generally better to wait for this opportunity to get your results.  Otherwise you may end up speaking to someone who hasn’t been involved with your care, making results harder to interpret.

If you don’t have any specific follow up planned, and have not received a text message within 2 weeks of having the test, you can telephone the practice on 0151 2958770.  If your results are entirely normal, the receptionist may have authorisation to tell you this.  Otherwise a clinician will call you back.

It is generally better to telephone in the morning for results.

If you are seeing this message it means the practice is currently closed. During this time our phone lines and eConsults are switched off.

Our opening hours are 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, but we also close on bank holidays and on the last Wednesday afternoon of every month for training. You can still browse the site for general information, but if you need help now, click below for options.
